Akshaya was absolutely amazing to work with – I commissioned her to paint my husband’s late donkey and she more than nailed the final result. The only images I had were a selfie and a short video of her being silly, and Akshaya managed to pull an amazing still from the video to really capture her personality. I was kept updated through the entire process, and saw sneaks on her social media. The painting arrived carefully wrapped – no risk of mail damage! My husband absolutely loves the portrait – I’ve caught him stopping to just stare at it several times. Highly, highly recommend!

Akshaya recently did a portrait for us of our pet labrador. We are extremely pleased with the portrait and the process to complete it. When we first met her, we were very impressed by the samples of her work. We sent her some photographs of our pet from different angles. She gave us a timeline (which was very quick) and let us know that she would be starting the next week. When she sent us an image at the halfway point, we knew that we had made a great choice in an artist.
She sent us a picture when the work was finished, with the paint still needing to set in. It was “identical” to the photo that we had suggested she use. When we picked up the portrait, we were even happier. Her artistic style and technique seemed especially suited to making the fur appear very realistic. Her attention to detail, especially with the eyes, brought our pet to life.
