Your custom oil painting comes with a certificate of authenticity. The canvas you get is now upgraded to archival linen canvas (6″x8″ in exception with the archival cotton canvas).
Once you pay your deposit, you can email me 3-5 clear photos of your beloved pet to oilsbyakshaya@gmail.com and I’ll get in touch with you the same day. Once we decide on the best image together, I will get painting! For larger painting sizes or multiple pets, please enquire your custom needs for your home with me and I would be happy to have a chat with you.
Your oil painting will take me 2-3 weeks from start to date of shipping (waitlist dependent). I will keep you updated on when I start your painting and make sure you can follow along the whole process! I will email you photos of your oil painting when complete.
This option is your pet portrait painting in a canvas ready to hang, unframed. If you are getting your painting framed, let me know I can paint on a panel instead of canvas for easy framing.
Your painting comes in a stretched linen canvas (except for 6″X8″ which is on a cotton archival canvas) for its luxurious and archival qualities, a certificate of authenticity, stamped back, wrapped in vintage tissue paper. All prices include free shipping to Canada and USA only. For other countries please email me!

Akshaya recently did a portrait for us of our pet labrador. We are extremely pleased with the portrait and the process to complete it. When we first met her, we were very impressed by the samples of her work. We sent her some photographs of our pet from different angles. She gave us a timeline (which was very quick) and let us know that she would be starting the next week. When she sent us an image at the halfway point, we knew that we had made a great choice in an artist.
She sent us a picture when the work was finished, with the paint still needing to set in. It was “identical” to the photo that we had suggested she use. When we picked up the portrait, we were even happier. Her artistic style and technique seemed especially suited to making the fur appear very realistic. Her attention to detail, especially with the eyes, brought our pet to life.

The only images I had were a selfie and a short video of her being silly, and Akshaya managed to pull an amazing still from the video to really capture her personality.
