About me
I went to school for Engineering and Animation but my passion always has been painting. I have been drawing and painting since I was 3 and never stopped. I live in Victoria, British Columbia, with my husband, our baby, goofy dog Hercules, and mysterious cat Milo. It’s a busy, happy home—and the perfect place to create.My love for animals and my love for painting is what has now become “Oils by Akshaya”. I’d be thrilled to capture the spirit of your beloved pet on canvas.
A custom portrait is a one-of-a-kind artwork made just for you, based on a photo of your pet. Each piece is hand-painted with care to capture their unique personality and charm.
Portraits typically take 2–3 weeks to complete, depending on the complexity and current order volume. If you need it by a specific date, feel free to reach out — I’ll do my best to accommodate!
Just a clear, high-quality photo of your pet — ideally in good lighting and showing their face and expression clearly. The more detail, the better the final result!
Once I receive your photo and details, I’ll reach out to you by email. I’ll keep you updated as I paint, and once it’s finished, I’ll send a preview before shipping or delivering.
