Once you pay your deposit, you can email me as many clear photos of your beloved pet to oilsbyakshaya@gmail.com along with interested size. Once we decide on the best image, I will get painting!
Your painting will take me 3 weeks from start to end (waitlist dependent). All Prices are in CAD.

1.if you want full body of the animal with background details, it costs:
$30 extra for Small, $40 extra for M, $50 extra for L and $60 extra for XL,
2.For multiple animals on the same canvas, I charge 50% extra for every additional animal. (For example for the mini, it would be $60 more for adding the second animal).
Commission Details:
• You can send me the pet’s name and any detail or charming story of the pet (optional) you would like me to add to my social media post of the painting.
• I can paint any pet- dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, pigs, reptiles, birds etc.
•I use pigment-rich professional grade oil paints and your painting is created on archival quality canvas which I like to source from a local art store(not cheaper hobby-store quality). It is on a ready to hang unframed. I also paint on wood panel, email me for that option.
• Local pick-up from my Brentwood Bay, Victoria home studio in Canada. Shipping available outside Victoria at buyer’s cost (usually between $20-$50CAD depending on the location and size of the painting)

Akshaya recently did a portrait for us of our pet labrador. We are extremely pleased with the portrait and the process to complete it. When we first met her, we were very impressed by the samples of her work. We sent her some photographs of our pet from different angles. She gave us a timeline (which was very quick) and let us know that she would be starting the next week. When she sent us an image at the halfway point, we knew that we had made a great choice in an artist.
She sent us a picture when the work was finished, with the paint still needing to set in. It was “identical” to the photo that we had suggested she use. When we picked up the portrait, we were even happier. Her artistic style and technique seemed especially suited to making the fur appear very realistic. Her attention to detail, especially with the eyes, brought our pet to life.
